Offshore with the boys....

I took My son and his 3 buddies visiting from college. We started in close as the weather guessers said the wind and seas would pick up. It was a gorgeous morning and the wind settled down to make for a flat sea.
The water was'nt to good looking colorwise and we poked through a few short snapper. We tried 3 spots a little further out, with the same results, more shorts........
We moved out another 5 miles and picked up 4 grouper and several better snapper. By now it was flat and beautiful! The only problem was, we brought absolutely no food (bad idea) So with 4 human eating machines getting very hungry, we bagged it and headed home (Singletons). This wasn't really a very serious trip, more just getting out and poking around.
Next week will be back to intense fish finding and catching!

I still have plenty of openings for the coming weeks, and the fishing will do nothing but get better. Spring is green light GO!
